Death is complicated. There is a tremendous amount of energy surrounding death whether it’s sudden, prolonged, or pending. As an energy healer, you will have to figure out if you’re going to assist and how and when.
When others make a request for them to send energy to them for one thing or another, most energy healers will do it without blinking. That’s what we do. As in all things there are preferences, rules of a sort that people follow, either because it’s what they were taught or it follows their own system of beliefs. Most healers would agree that they won’t work on someone without their permission. Generally, I follow that. In my world though, there are exceptions. For instance, if I’m driving and pass a car accident, I will send energy to the situation – not to the specific people. In other words, I will send a bunch of energy to make it available to whoever wants it, if they don’t want it, they don’t have to accept it. If they want it, it’s there for their use. Any leftover energy after the situation has been resolved goes to the Earth. My reasoning is that I’m not overriding anyone’s free will by sending that energy. It’s not directed at anyone in particular and I’m not sending with the intention to do anything specific. It’s neutral energy for their energy systems to whatever they want with it.
Some healers would argue that sending energy without a request is against the rules. That’s fine, every person has to function in the world according to their values. In my world, during stressful situations, energy can become depleted. All I’m doing is making more high vibration energy available to be used however they want. It costs me nothing but a few seconds of intention. Someone gets the energy they need to do what they need to do and I can get on with the rest of my day. On this point, you do you. Operate on your own rules, send it or don’t.
Now let’s focus on energy specifically. As I stated before, during instances with strangers, I send neutral energy. What I mean is high-vibration positive energy with no specific intention. When I work with clients, the usual intention I have is to send that particular person whatever they specifically need for their highest good. That’s pretty vague and it’s supposed to be. I learned early on that energy will go where it wants to go and do what it wants to do. If my intention directs that energy to their knees when it should go to their back, that intention will interfere with and possibly prevent healing. Any healer insisting that they know better than someone else’s energy system where energy should be going has an overactive ego and should be avoided. Effective healers understand that we are a conduit only, which frequencies of energy pass through us to the person and how that person’s energy system chooses to use it are none of our business.
We talked about neutral energy; now, let’s look specifically at the difference between life and death energy. In every situation where life and death are possible, there is both life and death energy. When a baby is born, there is excitement and anticipation. There is also worry and concern. It’s a situation when both mother and child ride the line between life and death. Other circumstances can influence whether they lean one way or another. The same thing happens with major accidents. These kinds of situations are potential exit points. Points in time when someone can choose to exit this life. Then there are those with lingering conditions that cause pain and suffering over an extended period of time, who ride the line between life and death daily.
Here is where it can get tricky. As healers, we hope everyone will be happy and healthy throughout their lives. Most of us are optimists in that way. We also have to understand that life is messy and what we hope for doesn’t always happen the way we want it to, but ultimately, even if it’s painful, it’s for the highest and best for everyone. We may not see that at the time, and we may want to rebel against it, but once all the thoughts and feelings about the situation have been processed, we may see the logic and reasoning in how things were resolved. Life requires that, regardless of how we feel about it, we move on. As healers, we have to be willing to not only facilitate health and life but also comfort and death. That does not mean sending negative energy. It means allowing the person to receive the frequency of energy they need to help them transition more easily if that is what they plan to do.
Again, I don’t decide what kind of energy to send them. I just send it. The person and Source decide what is sent and received. I can tell whether the requested energy is meant to infuse the body with life or to store energy to help the spirit exit the body. I adapted an energy technique, and I take myself out of the equation altogether. I create energy balls.
One of the games new healers often play is to create an energy ball between their palms and maybe even pass it to someone else. It’s cute and effective in teaching how to work with energy. However, that energy ball can be put to work. I expand it to about the size of a small watermelon and fill it with whatever energy that person needs. Again, I’m not choosing what goes in, I’m calling it in from Source. I treat the energy ball as a reserve tank. I connect one end directly to Source, send the ball to the person, then connect it to the person’s energy. Whatever energy they need comes from the energy ball. If the frequency of energy needs to change, Source will send it and the person receives it.
By doing it this way I’ve solved two issues, one, I don’t have to stop whatever I’m doing to assist. There’s no way that the time I can spend sending energy is enough for what that person needs. Second, the person gets what they need, when they need it and is not dependent on anyone else for their energy needs. The energy is constantly available. Most of the time, people find themselves suffering at night. No one is going to call someone for energy healing at two in the morning. By using an energy ball, they don’t have to. The ball will allow them to take energy as fast or as slow as they want. They have complete control over it. The only intention I have for the ball is that it stays with the person until it is no longer needed and any leftover energy, including the ball itself be given to the Earth.
If you happen to be in hospitals or clinics, places where life and death energy mix together, and you want to see if you can feel the difference, use your senses to discern the distinction. There are people walking around with death energy clinging to them. You can tell if it belongs to them or if they happen to be around death energy frequently. Doing this kind of exercise may seem a bit creepy, but it’s a way to sharpen your abilities and help you become a better energy healer. The longer you do this work, it’s inevitable that you will encounter a situation that requires you to distinguish between life energy and death energy.
