The Energy of Money

I’ve heard it said often over the years from various teachers and books I’ve read that money is energy. Your relationship with money determines how much (or little) you have of it. I have been working on my money energy for the past few years. It’s been a hit-and-miss process, if I’m honest, but it’s way better than it used to be. The biggest thing that has helped is gratitude. It’s being grateful for when money comes in and when it goes out. Energy is constantly in motion. If you hold onto things too hard, it creates stagnant energy.

Money itself isn’t important. It’s Important what money can do. Hoarding cash is good for the bank account but not for the energy of money. It’s why some people say give to receive. It’s a principle of energy. What you put out is what comes back to you, and part of coming back to you means it will increase exponentially when it returns. If you never put those dollars out there with gratitude, it won’t come back with gratitude and more money than you sent, allowing you to do it again.

The energy of money will return to you with the energy with which it was sent.

What does that mean? It means that if you grudgingly pay a bill, you send that energy out with the money. The money returning to you from the energy of that transaction will be given to you grudgingly.

If you pay your debts with gratitude, the energy from that transaction will return to you with gratitude.

I had a client who didn’t like what I told her, and she didn’t want to pay for the reading. How did I know? I could feel the energy of it whenever I thought about it. She kept putting off paying the invoice, and I knew she was trying to get out of paying it, but grudgingly, she would.

After a few days of non-payment, my guides told me to cancel the invoice and refuse her money. My tendency is to fight for things. The time wasted with her could have been spent doing other things. Even if I didn’t tell her what she wanted to hear, why shouldn’t I get paid for my time? Still, they insisted that I cancel the invoice and drop it.

I finally did what my guides told me a week after the appointment. Why? I finally figured it out. The whole week I had been thinking about the situation and getting pissed about it. My guides asked, “How’s your energy?” Then I realized that in picking up all her resentment, I had generated some of my own. Like attracts like. The more resentful I became, the more I would attract situations that would make me resentful. I wasn’t going to fall into that pit. I canceled the invoice that morning and forgot all about her. I immediately felt better. I had been hanging onto a rope of energy with her like a tug-o-war when all I had to do was let go, and I would be free of it. Later that day, she contacted me and said she couldn’t find the invoice. Could I resend it? I told her my guides had told me to cancel it, Happy New Year and best wishes.

Now that the weight of that situation is gone, I can see clearly that if I held onto it, it would stand in the way of calling in clients who need and want my help. The next day, I was contacted by someone who wanted me to mentor them, which I enjoy.

Why didn’t my guides want me to take her money? Because she was paying it with the energy of resentment. Who wants to receive anything with resentment? Money is money, but money with bad energy is money you don’t want. If you pay your bills with the mindset of lack and scarcity, that’s what you will receive. Every interaction you have with money should be while holding the prosperity mindset. Whether you are giving or receiving, always do so with gratitude.

You always want money to come to you easily, to leave you with gratitude, and return to you with more money than you sent out. Pay your bills while feeling grateful that you can pay them. Pay for your groceries with gratitude that you have what you need to feed yourself and your family. Be thankful when putting gas in your car or charging your vehicle that you have the means and privilege of doing so. Pay your bill and tip your server in restaurants with gratitude and appreciation. Even if you’re buying parts for your car, be grateful that you could. These little things serve many purposes. One is that they make you realize how blessed you are. Secondly, it causes your vibration to rise, allowing you to match the energy of more good things. Third, it sends that energy of gratitude out into the world where people can receive it and possibly send more. You could start a chain reaction of good energy wherever you go and whatever you do. Fourth, it allows you to receive money wrapped in gratitude. We can live in a cycle of hope, love, and comfort if we choose. Take care of the energy of money, and money will take care of you.
