I’ve heard it over and over. “If you keep your vibration high enough, nothing negative will attach to you.” That may be true, but good fortune only lies with those who live behind high walls where nothing changes and they encounter no one else. Real life consists of ups and downs, and the reality is that we, as mere mortals, can’t always maintain that level of vibration on a constant or even consistent basis without a lot of work. It’s tough to do while working, taking the kids to practice, or attending school to get a better job. We all do what we can when we can. Let me say this clearly. That is good enough. You are where you need to be for this moment. It can change in the space of a breath.
There are too many people in the metaphysical community looking down on others for where they happen to be at the moment. That’s what it is, a moment. If you are actively doing anything to raise your vibration, like 3-minute meditations, it’s progress. If you are choosing to do things that drop your vibration, like excessive addictive behavior – drugs, drinking, sex, gambling, etc., then you made your choice.
Choice is the keyword, and free will is always in play, as are the corresponding results. Making a bad choice gets an unpleasant consequence. Make a positive choice and get a better result. That is how it goes. It’s not rocket science, yet I still meet people who engage in “bad” behavior and wonder why their lives are going down the drain. They still don’t understand a vital thing:
What you accept in your life becomes your life.
It takes time to learn that, though. We all have to stumble our way through things. We are all learning as we go. Having another person look down on you while you’re struggling doesn’t help either. Whenever someone I meet tells me their friend/mentor/teacher told them, with the best of intentions, that they shouldn’t feed fear and to remind them that if their vibration was higher, they wouldn’t need tools like energy shields, I cringe. It’s not giving into fear to want to protect and have conscious control over what enters your energy field. It’s the same as paying attention to who and what enters your home. That’s just smart.
Should you give into fear? No. Should you be working to raise your vibration? If that is your goal, yes. However, we all have fears and insecurities. Our level of vibration fluctuates, sometimes moment by moment. It’s okay. We’re not perfect, and we’re not supposed to be. We are all works in progress. If you know someone who likes to remind you that your vibration isn’t high enough, I wonder, high enough for what? I have met people at different vibration levels, and not one hasn’t had something attached to them at one time or another. I’m skeptical when I meet people who tell me they have never had something attached to them. I have had people tell me they don’t have anything attached to them while I can see what’s attached to them.
The bottom line is if you are around someone judging you for the tools you use or steps you take or don’t take on your spiritual journey, I suggest you find someone else to spend your time with. They may think they’re doing you a favor, but making someone feel small for doing the best they can is not a positive influence. It will also drag your vibration down faster than a sea monster on an unsuspecting ship. Kraken are quick if the rumors are true. Don’t be that ship. My suggestion is to avoid those who think they are spiritually bulletproof.
Thank you for this Kai. Personally my life has been dragged through the swamps thanks to a Vendetta energy. Judging others and telling them its karma or that they attracted it is a form of secondary gaslighting.
Its what happens when you are super sick, and the doctors tell you there’s nothing wrong with you and to go to a psychiatrist.
Secondary gaslighting.
Life can be traumatic enough. Don’t add to it!
