I’ve been speaking with my higher self. There is another blog post about this if you’re interested in how to do it. She reminded me this morning that I can intentionally change the resonance or the level of vibration of my energy system temporarily.
Our energy system emits an energy signature that is uniquely ours. It’s similar to having a combination of melodies that vibrate in harmony to make up what is us. It consists of vibrations covering the scale from the very low to the very high. The overall objective of spirituality is to bring our lowest vibrations into the higher range. This allows us to attract to us the positive things we want and to bypass people, places, and situations that we don’t want. The more we vibrate at a higher level, the more good things come to us and help us stabilize at that higher level. It then calls more good things to us.
This has been one of the major issues with manifestation. We are able to get our energy systems into the higher range to resonate at the level where we need to be to attract what we want, but we can’t stay there. Maintaining it is the hardest part. Some would say that one good blast is all that is required, and if you’re working on something small and short-term, it might be. If what you want is something large and complicated, you might have to come at this from a different angle or not. It all depends on your belief system. I can’t stress looking at your beliefs enough. They drive everything.
Back to the point. You’re trying to achieve something, but for whatever reason, it’s not working. Let’s work on changing your vibration, at least temporarily, to help your situation. This is something that everyone can do. If you are sensitive to energy, you will feel the difference. If you’re not, the way to gauge if it’s working is to assess how you feel emotionally and mentally, perhaps even physically.
This is part of the process of manifestation using the law of attraction. Here is an example:
You need a new car.
Think about the kind of car you want. (Sedan, SUV, Truck, etc.) What color is it? How many doors does it have? What does the interior look like? You have the perfect place to park it. How much do you love that new car smell? How comfortable are the seats? Do they warm up? How smooth is the ride? How quiet is the engine? How great is the mileage on this thing? How good does it feel to drive it? See it in its parking space. Is it shining in the sun or cooling in the shade? Now you fill in the details with how you’re going to feel when you have it. Feel grateful that it fits perfectly into your life in all ways, financially and in terms of convenience.
Bring all these details together in your mind as if you have already experienced it. The car is parked in its space. The radio is already set to your favorite stations, and the seats are already set for your perfect comfort. If you feel like smiling about it, go ahead. Immerse yourself in the experience of your new car. Again, feel gratitude for it being yours. Imagine what it was like driving the car away from the lot for the first time as if it were a memory. Enjoy this process, relish it, and get excited about it. Feel that ooey-gooey, wiggliness all through your body.
Take as much time as you like imagining you’ve driven somewhere you wanted to take the car and about how much you enjoyed it, past tense. This is not imagining the future. It’s visualizing it as if it’s already happened, and you’re reminiscing what a good time you had. See the people who are with you. Did you sing in the car? Did someone tell a bad joke? Relive that moment in your mind. Ignore the fact that it hasn’t happened. Behave as if it has.
Now that you have embraced that experience, you should be feeling good and uplifted. That feeling is emanating from you out into the universe, drawing that car to you right now. Hold onto that feeling for as long as you can or until you feel the universe has gotten the message, then let it fade from your mind like a true memory would, slipping back to the back of your mind with the rest of your happy memories. This is how you change your vibration temporarily. When you feel you need to go it again to reinforce it, repeat the process.
For those of you who are sensitive to energy and know how to work with intention. Here is another way to do this. Reach out to the universe and ask to feel the vibration of the thing you want. Again using the example of a car.
Ask to feel the vibration of the car and when you feel it, put that aside in your attention for a moment and feel your own energy system. Where are you currently vibrating? If it’s above the one for the car, great. That means you have already encompassed the energy of what you want, all you have to do is maintain your current status, and the universe will find a way to get you that car.
If your vibration is lower than that of the car, you will have to set your intention that your vibration will rise to the level of the car. Try to maintain that for as long as you can. When you feel you can’t hold it any longer, release it and let your vibration fall back to its natural state.
Don’t get discouraged if it seems like you have to raise your vibration super high to get it to match, meaning that it was really low to start. We all fluctuate, and depending on our circumstances, we can still function every day despite our energy system being slow and weakened. In this instance, I encourage you to use the visualization as laid out before to engage your mind in the process and help bring up your vibration in a way you will enjoy.
Also, the more you do this, it’s going to help your energy system settle into a higher position than when you started.
If you have nothing you need and want to continue working on raising your vibration, think about going somewhere or doing something you really want to do and immerse yourself in it. The point is to make it as real as you can. Sights, sounds, smells, tastes, feels. Whatever way you can engage your senses in the experience will add to the energy and raise your vibration to new heights, if only temporarily.
