The Spiritual Energy Body, now we’re cooking! This is the part of you that connects to the world around you. It includes that which is seen and unseen. It has to do with what you can connect to energetically on this plane of existence. The ethereal, which we’ll cover next week, allows you to connect much more broadly.

Some of us think of our existence as being finite in the truest sense in that once we breathe our last breath, that is the end of us. As a shaman who speaks to dead people on a regular basis, I can tell you it’s not true. I also recognize that most people don’t have my experience with the spiritual, so it doesn’t offend me in the slightest if people don’t believe me. I always tell them to work on experiencing it for themselves. We can all do it, and we can get some benefit from it if we are open to it and don’t freak out when it happens.

Your spiritual body can help you communicate with the spirits around you. It is also that part of your that ties directly into your intuition. That funny feeling you get about something is coming from your spiritual energy body. It’s telling you that the energy around something isn’t right. It’s one of the reasons many people say, “Follow your gut.” It’s your spiritual body letting you know you’re missing something or that even if it all looks and sounds perfect, it’s not.

This is also the part of you that can guide you when you are astral traveling or journeying. It can lead you away from things that might be harmful to you. Let me say this now. While exploring through astral traveling is safe, there are dangers. There is an upcoming post about that coming up soon, so stay tuned for it, but for the most part, if you’re smart about it, trust your spirit body and take the right precautions; it’s safe.

Your spirit body lets you know when you are around like-minded people who have the same values as you. It is this part of you that resonates with others. Remember that while it does work for your highest and best, it will not fight against your free will. What I mean is that if you choose to engage in behavior that can invite negative entities to attach to you, your spiritual body and all your other energy bodies will allow it as you have made a conscious choice, and the entire essence complies with your conscious free will.

All of our energy bodies store energy, both positive and negative. Our spiritual bodies may hold the energy of our soul contracts. Those are normally stored in the unconscious part of our everyday operating system, but some parts may be stored in the spiritual body. If you have been working to solve a particular issue and the methods you have tried to get at it haven’t worked, checking in with your energy bodies for stored energy on the subject might be the next step. The spiritual body is also where the energy of others can get stuck. It’s to our benefit to occasionally do a “white light shower,” cleanse ourselves with white light, remove the energy of others from us, and call the energy we have given back to us.

When we are psychically attacked, the spiritual body takes the hit first, then rolls through the others after it breaks through the layers of the aura. We often don’t notice anything until it manifests as pain or a headache in our physical body. This is also the place where we have stored the energy of something we keep attracting that we don’t want. The thread of energy that broadcasts that we are okay with being subjected to narcissists might be lodged there. If we can find it, we can break it and begin to broadcast the energy of accepting healthy relationships going forward.

The Spiritual Energy Body represents who you are as an individual soul among other souls sharing the same time/space plane of existence. It is the part of you that can sense what’s going on with someone you love, even if you are thousands of miles apart.
