Developing Sensitivity for Frequencies

In the previous post, I talked about the fun things you could try in experimenting with energy frequencies. Now I’m going to talk about how to begin to work with energy frequencies. As I stated before, the first thing is to become aware of your own energy. If you don’t know what’s yours, you won’t be able to distinguish it from anything else.

Let’s start at the beginning for those who don’t know how to detect energy at all. Pick an object, one you can hold in your hand. It can be anything but something big enough for you to wrap your hand around or can take up the entire palm of your hand. In other words, don’t pick something like a paperclip. It can work, but it’s harder because the item is so small you might find it difficult to discern its energy signature. That is what we’re going to do with it. To start, you have to be able to detect an energy signature.

Everything and everyone has one, plants, animals, and inanimate objects. All of it is energy, and each has its own unique energy, but all boxes feel similar, and all dogs feel similar, but each dog still has something specific about them. Think of it as energy DNA. What you’ll be looking for in this object is its energy signature. In doing so, you will start to feel your own.

This is not an assessment of what it feels like in your hands. This is not about any physical aspect of it. What you’re looking for is beyond that. Hold the object in your hand and close your eyes. Focus on the object and try to get a sense of it. Once you feel you have narrowed your focus and identified it, now try to find your own energy signature separate from the object while still holding it. You’re trying to figure out what’s yours and what isn’t yours. It’s not as easy as it sounds. You may have to put the object down to try to focus on your energy signature first, then pick up the object again to try to differentiate. Take your time with this. It’s a crucial step in the process. If you are unable to discern your own energy signature, you won’t be able to find anyone else’s.

If you have sensed the distinction between yourself and the object, congratulations. If you haven’t yet, that’s okay. Keep working at it. It takes patience and practice, but you will get there.

Now it’s time to step up your game. Get two objects, it doesn’t matter what they are, but it’s preferable if you have objects that are not usually near one another. Not that it really matters, but if they are items that are always close to one another, it will be harder for you to tell them apart. The reason you don’t want two objects that have been living close to one another is that objects, like people, will take on aspects of the other object to make the energy around them more cohesive.

Once you have established where something is going to live, such as the scissors always go in this drawer, the scissors and everything else in that drawer blends their energies to make it their “home” space. You sense that home energy, and it blends in further and becomes part of the greater energy of your home. Everyone has come across something sitting somewhere and says, “That doesn’t go there,” and you put it back where it lives. You have just put it back in its “home.”

Use things from different rooms if possible and put them in front of you. Place them at least six inches away from one another to avoid their energies blending together, making it harder for you to distinguish. Now, close your eyes and become aware of your own energy signature. It’s to avoid accidentally blending with the objects as well. Once you’ve got that nailed down, let’s move on to the next thing.

Using your dominant hand, hover over one of the objects and discern its energy. Then do the same with the other one. With your eyes closed, move them around in front of you and see if you can still tell them apart. If you can’t, more practice is necessary. If you can, terrific. We’re stepping up one more time.

If you have been able to detect the items, the next thing to do is to find them in your house. If you can, have someone help you. Ask them to put the objects in a room where they don’t normally live then you have to find them by entering the room with your eyes closed and detecting where they are in the house by their energy signature alone. If you can do this without leaving the room you’re in, even better.

These exercises can be satisfying or frustrating. Unless you find this kind of experimentation fun like I do, it might be best to take it slow and work your way through this as the occasion arises. Such as when a client says that they haven’t been feeling well, but nothing is really wrong. They could have something attached to them, and if it’s your desire to help with that sort of thing, this is when a skill like this can come in handy.

As always, use whatever you think might be useful here, and feel free to discard whatever doesn’t work for you. Go at your own pace when developing sensitivity for frequencies.
