We are our own worst enemies. Most of the time, the person standing in our way is us. We say or do things we don’t understand and can’t explain. There are a lot of psychological techniques that can help create a bridge to cross over our foibles to get us moving forward again if we feel stuck. There are things you can do with energy as well. We all know that everything starts as energy. When enough energy is gathered, it then manifests in the physical. That’s true whether the manifestation positively or negatively impacts our lives.
All of it starts with us. The lives we have are the lives we built initially from energy that then manifested in the physical. Change the energy, change your life. That’s the base concept we’re working with here. Don’t blame or shame yourself for whatever has already happened. That is not the best use of your time or your energy. You’re human. No one is expecting you to be perfect.
From now on, direct your energy toward bigger and better things.
Think about those things you’re having trouble with on your spiritual journey. Things like you can’t sit still long enough to meditate, having trouble hearing your guides, or being unable to sense energy as strongly as you would like. These are all issues that can be solved with practice. However, even after you’ve been practicing for a while, the problem hasn’t gotten better or changed in any way, which means there is a block.
Blocks usually start with a belief about something, such as meditation is only practiced by the spiritually powerful. Logic refutes that. Everyone can meditate, and anyone can be good at it with diligence. However, beliefs are not based on logic. They are based on ideas that become fixed in your energy system that now acts as a gatekeeper. Unless you fulfill whatever it defines as being spiritually powerful, you won’t be able to meditate, regardless of how hard you try.
What do you do then? Remove the block.
There are several ways to this do. The first thing to do is locate it. It could be anywhere in your energy system and can resonate in your body. Feeling for that resonance is the fastest way to find it. Think about meditating or whatever your issue is. See yourself doing that thing in your mind’s eye. Now observe your body. Take note of any area of your body that aches, twinges, or otherwise feels different every time you think about it. That’s where it is.
Now try to discern how deep into your body it is. If it’s very deep, it could be buried under more energy that has to be removed before you can get to the belief that created the block in the first place. Now is the time to employ the method you have chosen to remove that block. Sound therapy is very effective. Some people use special tuning forks to break up energy.
In the past, I have often found that energy that solidified into a block formed in layers. One layer created a barrier at one frequency, and another barrier layer was created from another. Those are the blocks that will take work to find out what is at the center of it all. Most are not like that, but it’s prudent to mention it, as when you look for energy blocks, there is no telling what you will find until you start working on it.
Most energy blocks are not multi-layered like that, but the ones that are can be the most significant in terms of personal change. If you happen to come upon one that seems to be complicated, be happy that when you get to the center of that mess, you will find something important that your higher self feels you are ready to face and change.
The typical energy block I’ve encountered is usually one or two layers that can easily be conquered with the intention to do so. Once the outer shell has been cracked, the ooey-gooey center is where the belief you’re looking for resides. Keep in mind that if we’ve created an energy block about it, it’s a sensitive issue. It’s usually representative of something that hurts.
I’ve cracked open blocks for people who have then burst into tears without being able to tell me why they’re crying. There could also be some leftover shame, blame, or whatever other emotions tied into it that we’ve tucked away and covered up. Sometimes we do this without realizing we have or purposely squashed down something we weren’t ready to face. Whatever it is, if it’s resonating, that means you’re ready to deal with it and to progress in the way you would like to means looking at it, acknowledging it, modifying or adjusting it, or replacing it altogether.
Whatever you choose to do with it is entirely up to you. I suggest you not cover it back up and ignore it. That way lies madness. Things don’t come up unless we’re ready to face them. Don’t back away from the hard stuff. As I said, those are the things that can make the most difference in our lives. That doesn’t mean to say that you have to take things head-on as soon as you come across them. It means you get to take a breath and take a break when you need to, but keep moving forward until you see the other side. It may take you a while to get through it, but it will be worth it.
After you’ve cracked the block and found the belief. Use whatever technique you like to change it to something more in line with your goals, and then allow that new belief to take its place in your energy. Allow it to infuse your energy system with the higher vibration of that new belief and new direction you want to take. Once you’ve done that, you can pat yourself on the back. It’s another area of your life where you can honestly say that you are no longer blocking yourself.
