How to Starve a Dark Entity

This is Part 1 in the About the Dark Series. Stay tuned for more posts on this subject.

I’ve heard many metaphysicians say they will have nothing to do with the dark side of energy. That’s great. As a general rule, we should do everything we can to keep negative energy in any form away from us and our endeavors. Healers and most people of power tend to work for the light. Their objective is to help others heal and, in doing so, find the path to healing themselves.

I do all that stuff too, but I also do something else. One of my primary missions in this lifetime is to banish dark energy in whatever form that takes. Saying that out loud tends to freak people out. As soon as the word demon is mentioned, primal fear kicks in, higher brain function stops, and fight or flight instinct is activated. I can always tell by how big someone’s eyes get after hearing that word that they are about to see me in a new way and quickly find an excuse to be elsewhere.

When that happens, I’m always reminded of a line from one of the movies about a famous boy wizard. His female best friend said that fearing the name only increases fear of the thing itself. Not that fear isn’t warranted. I was born with the ability to see entities with my eyes and in my head. Fear of the dark is legit. The forms they choose to take are worthy of the most terrifying nightmares, and it’s done on purpose.

Negative energies can grow in size and strength after feeding. What do they feed on, you ask?

Fear

They feed on all our negative emotions. The things we stuff down and refuse to deal with like anger, hurt, and pain. They love when we hold grudges. That’s like having a cookie jar that continues to refill itself.

The word demon has a reputation, one it deserves, but it’s also a trigger, a button that causes people to fall immediately into fear mode. Once that happens, the negative entity is now in control, and depending on how strong it is, you may be in for a wild ride.

My recommendation to anyone who thinks they might be dealing with something negative is to get a handle on fear. The more you allow fear to grow, the more fuel you provide for the thing hoping to keep you in that state. It gives them strength and allows them to move on to whatever they plan for you next.

If an entity is negative, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s demonic. There are all kinds of people ranging from good to bad, and it’s the same with positive and negative beings. For me, angels are at one end of the spectrum, with demons at the other. There is a whole lot in the middle. The bottom line is that things that tend to be negative in nature always try to elicit fear first as it’s a knee-jerk reaction for most of us and a quick snack for them.

Controlling your fear puts you in control of the situation. Your strength is their weakness. If you can prevent yourself from falling into primal fear mode, you will be much more effective in dealing with negative energy. A person with strong intent and in control of their fear makes a less attractive target for a negative entity. They will move on and look for someone easier to control.

It’s easier said than done, but it’s only a matter of time before you come across something negative because they are everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Even the most powerful metaphysicians can get things attached to them. Some are immediately aware when something is off, while others don’t notice until something strange happens and are forced to look at it. Most lightworkers can get rid of negative things that are attracted to them and can chase away most things from their clients. There are cases where they can’t, and that’s when they call in their friends to assist or someone like me.

Again, demons feed off fear. When you come across something that makes you scared and you panic, that causes your energy to fluctuate like a fish in distress flopping around in the ocean. It’s that motion that attracts sharks. It’s that energy fluctuation that attracts negative entities.

Take the time to think about what in metaphysics scares you. Go for broke and imagine a worst-case scenario. Observe how you feel in that situation and take note of it. Try to label the strongest emotion that comes up, as that is what you will be working on. It will most likely be fear.

Pay attention to the circumstances when those emotions are strongest. Then decide how you will handle that situation if it happens in real life. I know it’s one thing to think about and another when you’re actually going through it. If you have a plan of sorts, and it ever happens, when your mind starts searching for what to do, hopefully, you remember the plan and can follow it before primal fear kicks in. The last thing you want to do is freeze up or react in a way that will cause you more harm than good.

For the most part, you won’t deal with anything big and bad, so worrying about it will only give you anxiety and bring down your vibration. Keep your focus on happy things. Positive things bring up your energy and make you less attractive to negative entities looking for an easy mark. The more stable you can make your energy field, the less likely you will be noticed. Being happy and controlling fear is how to starve a dark entity.
